Organized by Kaleidoscope, The VIFF Immersed Co-Production Market will connect Canada’s foremost XR creators and industry leaders with their international counterparts in order to co-produce and co-finance the next wave of great XR projects. Are you a Canadian XR creator looking for international support? Or are you developing an XR project outside of Canada and looking for a local co-production partner? If this sounds like you, then submit your work below and join Canada’s premiere XR market.
Part of the Vancouver International Film Festival’s VIFF Immersed, selected projects will attend a one-day market where they will present to leading XR studios, distributors, curators, and funding institutions from across Canada and around the world. Past events organized by Kaleidoscope have helped secure funding and distribution for acclaimed projects such as Battlescar, Spheres, Terminal 3, Vestige and many more.
The VIFF Immersed Co-Production Market will select ten (10) XR projects which are currently in-development and looking for co-production partners. Half of the selected projects must be directed by Canadian artists, however, the remaining projects may be directed by international artists. All genres of immersive content will be considered including XR art, games, apps, films, and experiences. Working prototypes are not required but encouraged.
If selected, you must be willing to prepare and rehearse a polished pitch for your project and be able to attend the market event in Vancouver, BC on September 29, 2019. Discounts for flights and hotels are available.
As an XR conference, market, exhibition and competition, VIFF Immersed at the Vancouver International Film Festival features case-studies, networking opportunities and hands-on workshops with some of the world’s leading immersive content creators. Learn more & get tickets

Login to your Kaleidoscope account, or apply to join if you are not already a member.
Once you are logged in, add your project to Kaleidoscope. In the bottom right corner of the screen click the blue “+” button, select “Add Project”, and then follow the instructions. Make sure you actually publish the project and not just save it as a draft.
Once your project has successfully been added to Kaleidoscope, copy your project’s URL. Make sure you are not copying the project’s URL from the edit screen. Best way to avoid this is to find your project in the My Projects section, click to view the details page for your project, and then copy your project’s URL.
