IN 2016 THE WORLD OF VIRTUAL REALITY WAS TAKEN BY STORM WITH THE GROUND BREAKING VR EXPERIENCE "NOTES ON BLINDNESS."
Premiering alongside the feature film, Sundance 2016 saw the unveiling of Notes On Blindness, an immersive virtual reality project based on John Hull's sensory and psychological experience of blindness.
Each scene addresses a memory, a moment and a specific location from John’s audio diary, using binaural audio and real time 3D animations to create a fully immersive experience in a ‘world beyond sight’.
Notes on Blindness was one of the most acclaimed VR experiences of 2016, winning top awards at Tribeca, Kaleidoscope, and numerous festivals around the world.
To execute Terra Nova we’ve assembled the same creative and programming teams behind Notes on Blindness, with the added heft of the world’s number one motion and performance-capture studio - The Imaginarium.
