Michael Steiner is a Los Angeles-based producer of film, documentary and Virtual Reality with a passion for the provocative and unorthodox stories. His work in VR includes the The Argos File, which won Best Live Action Experience at the 2016 Proto Awards, and he has produced content with top companies in the space including Magnopus, Secret Location, and m ss ng p eces.
His short film Day One was nominated for a 2016 Academy Award, after winning the BAFTA US Student Award, two Student Emmys, and a Student Academy Award. His other credits include documentaries (Meet the Patels, Chicken People) and the feature film Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, which will be released by Sony World Wide in 2017. His work has screened at Telluride FF, AFI Fest, Mill Valley FF, Seattle International FF, Nashville FF and Cannes. Michael attended the American Film Institute.
