René Pinnell is a the CEO & founder of Kaleidoscope, a community for VR creators to share their work, meet collaborators, and secure funding for future projects. As a filmmaker & designer, René produced the acclaimed comedy show Backpack Picnic, directed the feature documentary The King of Texas, sold a TV pilot to MTV, designed 5 products & founded 2 companies.
Director of New Frontier Lab
Kamal Sinclair serves as the director of Sundance Institute's New Frontier Lab Programs, a consultant to the Ford Foundation's JustFilms program, and an artist and producer on the transmedia art project Question Bridge: Black Males. Previously, Kamal worked at 42 Entertainment on projects such as J.J. Abrams's Legends of Alcatraz and Mark of the Spider-Man.

Jake spearheads the development of immersive content at RYOT in an effort to expand and explore the human experience by activating the full range of emerging platforms to tell captivating stories. Bolstered by an early entry into the virtual reality arena, Jake has now become an industry leader using immersive content to both alter and improve the way stories are told.
Ruthie Doyle is an artist and filmmaker based in Los Angeles via Brooklyn. Since 2013 she has worked in Sundance Institute’s New Frontier program, which identifies, supports, and exhibits artists working at the convergence of film, art, media, and technology at the Sundance Film Festival as well as year-round labs and residencies.
